The PE Opera House & Marlene Pieterse present Slaves Of Silence
Slaves Of Silence, a compilation of stories and tales born out of the need to take stock of our hesitancy to react in whatever manner to many issues which could have, and should have at the very least attracted our attention.
What is it that drives us and what is this that we fear from veering off the norm? Is it the fear of being ostracized from and judged by those closest to us? The human beings have the ability to enslave themselves and to become enslaved and consumed by anything and in any possible way – fear, persecution, prejudicial and conformity.
Slaves Of Silence is Directed by Marlene Pieterse and Compiled by Marlene and Cast starring Stageworld Theatre School graduates Aarti Narotam, Anneke Groenewald and Emily Bradley as well as Stageworld Theatre School Third Year students Nwabisa Hina, Danielle Koning, Jenna Deysel and Elvida Baatjies.
