1/2 Day Township Tour
Experience the fusion of urban, Xhosa and township culture, blended with the rich history and devastating past that lingers in the townships of Nelson Mandela Bay. Meet the ‘real’ people of the area and experience their stories. Learn about the prominent political and cultural leaders who originated from the townships and the struggles endured to mould South Africa into the country it is today. The half-day tour will take you past the Red Location Museum, the Emlotheni Memorial Park, Njoli Square and the Mendi Memorial to mention but a few fascinating stops.
