IT’S A SWEET 16 FOR THE BOARDWALK

The Boardwalk is celebrating its 16th birthday this month and the milestone will be marked with a super-charged line up of shows and promotions in October. It is a sweet 16 for The Boardwalk. Over its 16 year history, the complex has become renowned for delivering premium shows, a variety of action-packed entertainment for families and a choice of restaurants in one, beautiful location overlooking the best beaches in Port Elizabeth.

Entertainment and events on the cards for October include the 2016 The Herald First Choice Kids and Baby Expo (7 to 9 October); an inspiring ladies breakfast with Alison Botha, author of I Have Life (22 October); Ashley Pienaar’s musical showcase, Bring Back the legends; a music concert with Ray Dylan, Len Muller and Sharoney (26 October); the Black Tax comedy show with comedian Celeste Ntuli (29 October) and live entertainment by local bands every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Bravo Bar.

Boasting a state-of-the-art casino, the ample Boardwalk Amphitheatre, the five-star Boardwalk Hotel, a variety of restaurants and retail outlets, a world-class Africology Spa, the Boardwalk International Convention Centre, and superior conferencing facilities, The Boardwalk provides the best of all worlds, from a relaxing retreat to a launch pad for adventures and business ventures in the region.

Activities for families and children include a supervised crèche; a range of arcade games at the Magic Company; ten pin bowling at Lighthouses; go-carting; adventure golf and the latest movies at Nu Metro cinema.
