Nomhle Nkonyeni and PE Opera House present Truck Driver

Truck Driver, pieces together a much-avoided life story in South Africa: amidst the scourge of rampant women abuse, there are men who are good to their women and there are women who are bad to their men. First performed at the National Arts Festival in 2013, Truck Driver will be staged at the PE Opera House this July as part of the current cycle of Drama Seasons.
Truck Driver is written by the cast and Directed by Nomhle Nkonyeni, starring Xolani Ngesi, Anele Penny, Xabiso Zweni, Nobesuthu Rayi and Zukiswa Cakucaku. Opens at the Barn Theatre, PE Opera House on Wednesday 12 July at 19:00 play until Saturday the 15th. Tickets are R50 (R20 senior citizens and students).
Drama Seasons is produced by the PE Opera House and funded by the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality and the Eastern Cape Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture.
