Competition: Win a day tour to Addo Elephant Park with Shield Tours

Competition Duration: 01 February 2016 to 31 March 2016
Win a day tour to Addo Elephant Park with Shield Tours

Win a Full Day Tour to Addo Elephant National Park with Shield Tours which Includes entrance fee and light lunch.

The Addo Elephant National Park is less than an hour’s drive from the city centre of Port Elizabeth and is home to more than 600 African elephants, as well as a number of other exciting animal species. These include lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and a massive variety of antelope. In addition, there are around 170 different bird species; including the Cape robin-chat, bar-throated apalis, brown-hooded kingfisher, spectacled weaver, malachite sunbird, martial eagle, black korhaan, blue crane, secretary bird, African crowned eagle, and yellow-throated woodland-warbler, amongst others.

The tours are conducted in comfortable closed vehicles, which means that the beauty and abundance of the park can be enjoyed in almost any weather conditions. Thanks to the impressive population of elephants and other wildlife, tourists are sure to see many of the local species and to have excellent photo opportunities.

After exploring Addo, a light picnic lunch is savoured under the high African skies and within the borders of the park. Attention to detail and our love of fine food make this a delightful al fresco experience!

Customised day and overnight tours in the Eastern Cape are available on request from Shield Tours.
