Cape Recife Ramble

WESSA will be leading the annual Cape Recife Ramble – a beach and coastal fynbos mosaic walk in the Cape Recife Conservancy, as part of the National Marine Week Celebrations. It’s a gentle 3.5H walk, with Alan Fogarty and Morgan Griffiths guiding on the natural and cultural history of this exquisite coastal reserve. Run under the auspices of the Cape Recife Conservancy, the R25 entry fee per car will be donated to the SA Marine Rehabilitation & Education Centre, towards conserving the critically endangered Penguins in Algoa Bay. Walking shoes, drinks, snacks, sunscreen, hat and windbreaker recommended. Lunch can be bought from SAMREC or The Island Restaurant @ Pine Lodge
