The Herald Cycle Tour is one of the oldest cycling classics, beginning in 1986 and taking place in the Nelson Mandela Bay. The event runs over two weekends for one mountain Bike and two Road races, and is sanctioned by Cycling South Africa. It boasts a longstanding tradition of delivering a memorable cycling experience.
The event hosts over 2600 participants and aims to create an experience for all level riders from beginner riders to community, social and competitive elite riders.
The Mountain Bike race will take place on Sunday, 11 February 2024 at Addo Polo Club whilst the Road races will take place on Saturday to Sunday, 17 and 18 February 2024 at Pollok Beach.
This event is for the whole family. Food stalls, kiddies play park, family tent, beer yard, development rider activation and live entertainment will be on offer in the race village.
Entries have opened on the 27th September 2023 and will close on Monday, 5 February 2024 at midday. Come and join in on the fun.
