Centrestage’s Kickass Guitar Show ready to entertain this festive season

The Ultimate Kickass Guitar Show is back by popular demand this festive season at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre on Saturday, 27 December.

This guitar lover’s treat will feature no less than six guitarists on stage performing with the spectacular Centrestage all-star band, while playing some of the most memorable rock songs by legendary bands such as ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Metallica, Guns ‘n Roses, Gary Moore, Van Halen, John Mayer, Jimmi Hendrix and many more.

The show is a tribute to all things musically exceptional and will feature a special ACDC segment, as ace guitarist Jens Koudele flies in from Germany to attend this show, adding his superb Angus Young impersonation to the mix. Other magnificent guitarists on stage include Deon Du Toit, Arno Erasmus, Sherrid Van Rooyen, Rob Thomson and Wayne Kallis, as well as Gino Fabbri on drums and Andrew Warneke on bass.

The show, which always features something old and something new, also sees veteran vocalist extraordinaire Deon Du Toit returning from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth especially to perform in the show.

All-time favourite loved classics such as Smoke on the Water, Hey Joe, Pride and Joy, A Whole Lotta Love, A Long Way to the Top, Iron Maiden’s Aces High and Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit are only a few of the songs which can be expected.
