Open Day for the SA Agulhas ll

The Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) invites members of the public to the annual SA Agulhas ll Open Day on 14 May 2016 at the Port of Port Elizabeth.

The Open Day give the pkublic an opportunity to explore the ship and the Department's work in the oceans and coastal environment.

Visitors will go on a guided tour of the vessel, from its state of the art laboraties to the lounge area which is dedicated to the lat South African musician icon Miriam Makeba.

There will also be exhibitions and displays by DEA and its stakeholders. Visitors will also receive an opportunity to conduct interview and take pictures.

Enter via the Flemming Street entrance.

Entrance is FREE
