The Herald VW Cycle Tour

South Africa's second oldest national classic, The Herald VW Cycle Tour, takes place in Addo and Port Elizabeth on February 4 and 5 next year. The weekend festival of cycling comprises both mountain biking and road events and promotes a healthy lifestyle for the whole family. The races are as listed: Road 105km Classic 70km Pursuit 40km Challenge 21km Powerade Leisure Ride 2km Powerade Kiddies' Ride 500 Powerade Toddlers' Dash All road races start and finish at Hobie Beach on Sunday Mountain bike 80km Extreme 60km Adventure 30km Powerade Leisure Challenge 5km Powerade Kiddies' Challenge 500m Powerade Todders' Dash All mountain bike races will take place in Addo on Saturday With a R100 000 prize purse, it is the Eastern Cape's richest race.
