The Alliance Française of Port Elizabeth, with its Green initiative and portfolio INDALO, is hosting an exhibition "100% Paris Architecture – Urbanisme 2000 - 2012" - a world class urban and architectural exhibition in partnership with NMMU, MBDA & ECIA. The exhibition has a numerous parallels with Port Elizabeth; heritage and restoration, moving the university back to the city, reuse of brown (industrial sites) in the city, reviving the heart of the urban block, energy and green buildings, stimulating local economies, transforming business through buildings, large urban projects to mentions a few...The exhibition is a three day talk (21st - 23rd July /6 – 9pm) opened by the VC of NMMU and exhibition (21st - 25th of July / 9 – 9pm) at the Atheneum. The event will have various parts that form a holistic urban exhibition namely; 100% Paris Architecture – Urbanisme 2000 – 2012, the MBDA’s Bird street and Baakens Valley projects, NMMU school of music school move back to the city and a project from NMMU School of architecture Baakens Valley, the ECIA’s Projects Of Excellence and Trinity Session’s TEMPORARY BUT PERMANENT .
