A rosy spring ahead
THE Addo Rose and Garden Show is here again with its myriad of colours and flavours from mild and warm to some deep, bold and terse, a blend of fragrances from sweet, fruity and mild to wild tangy overtones.

Set in the nearby country town of Addo, the annual show plays host to more than eight thousand local and international visitors, who get to experience incredible displays of rose and garden themes from around the world. The flowers are intuitively arranged with different varieties of roses from bud to blossom.

“The show has grown into such a huge event that attracts lots of people from across the world. It’s another great opportunity for us to proudly show our city to the world since many tourists have to pass through our doors. This will be a great way to experience the life and fun in Nelson Mandela Bay,” said Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism chief executive Mandlakazi Skefile.

This year’s show, from October 7-9 at the valentine hall in Addo, will run under the theme “Roses for all”. All profits generated from the show will go to support charities that work to alleviate rural poverty.
