SA Marine Rehabilitation & Education Centre

SAMREC’s Marine Bird Rehabilitation and Education Centre, situated in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve, allows visitors to experience nature through sight, sound and touch. Visit the hospital and see the volunteers in action, helping to save our environment, in particular the endangered African Penguin. Guided hikes in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve are also available. Inform gate security that you are visiting SAMREC
