Margate Place Guest House is situated in a quiet street, very close to popular swimming beaches, restaurants and all major beachfront attractions. The Boardwalk Casino and entertainment complex is also within easy walking distance. We are on the main bus route and only 10 minutes away from the airport. For golf enthusiasts the only true links golf course is on our doorstep.
Our entertainment area offers a swimming pool and cozy pub (By arrangement). A scrumptious buffet breakfast, full English or Continental, is served in our breakfast room each morning. Guests also have the option of self-catering, as most of our units offer kitchenettes.
We offer a laundry service as well as fax facilities. Each unit has its own telephone line and wireless internet.
We also offer our guests safe, off street, lock-up parking with 24-hour CCTV surveillance cameras.

Directions
From the N2:Follow the ‘Settlers Way' (M4) to ‘City' to ‘Summerstrand' signs. Stay on the M4 all the way to the beachfront even if the name changes from Summerstrand M4 to Humewood M4. Travel along the beachfront and turn right into 6 th Avenue, just after the Marine Hotel (Protea). Margate Place Guest House is just up the road on the corner of Margate Street and 6 th Avenue.
From the airport:
Turn right into ‘Alister Miller'. At the traffic lights turn right and follow ‘La Roche' to the beachfront (McDonalds will be on the right hand side).
Turn right into Marine Drive and travel along the beachfront. Turn right into 6 th Avenue just after the Marine Hotel (Protea). Margate Place Guest House is just up the road on the corner of Margate Street and 6 th Avenue
