Sundays River Adventures promises a fun-filled day for all at its one-stop adventure paradise in the little town of Colchester. Whether it’s sandboarding down one of the highest dunes in South Africa, enjoying a safari with an expert guide through the Addo Elephant National Park, cruising or canoeing along the beautiful Sundays River, or taking a dip in the river during one of the water-sport activities, Sundays River Adventures has what it takes to make your day an extraordinary one.
We offer 2- or 3-hour sandboarding tours which give everyone more than enough time to learn some new skills and have a great time while doing it. And if you don’t feel confident on the stand-up board, you can sit down or try a belly-board ride down the dune.
Enjoy a relaxing 1.5 or 2.5 hour river cruise along the majestic Sundays River passing the Alexandria Coastal Dune field and many local birdlife feeding in their natural habitat. The cruise also includes a stop at one of the highest sand dunes, and if you climb to the top, you will be treated to spectacular views of the bay.
Or hire a canoe and head towards the Sundays River mouth and experience the beauty of the area and its
magnificent birdlife.

Please arrive at our local restaurant A Taste of Africa, 33°41'28.1"S 25°49'35.0"E, next to the Colchester KWIKSPAR, at least 30 minutes before the starting time of your activity so you can sign in and we can get the activity started on time. Please take note our location is about 40 km outside of Port Elizabeth on the N2 towards Grahamstown. We are situated about 5km from the South Entrance of the Addo Elephant national Park.
