Koffylaagte Game Lodge is situated 130km from Port Elizabeth in the Karoo Heartland, between Janseville and Port Elizabeth.

The name, which literally interpreted means “Coffee Valley”, is derived from its rich history as the resting place of the early settler traders. The original 1870’s farm house remains as testimony to this bygone era and embraces the Karoo farm style, making Koffylaagte a unique venue for a true South African experience.

This malaria-free reserve is also home to Buffalo, Zebra, Giraffe, 22 species of antelopes, small mammals, primates, birds and a large diversity of Karoo flora, with uninterrupted views, creating a rich and rewarding visual spectacle.
