2021 SA Duathlon Championships

THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS!

NMB Triathlon will be hosting the 2021 SA Duathlon Championships in Nelson Mandela Bay on Saturday 26th June and look forward to welcoming athletes from around South Africa. Athlete's representing their Province will be registered by the Province and DO NOT have to register online with Zsports - online entries here will just be for the NON-CHAMPIONSHIP events.

The Championships will feature the following events;

Super-Sprint Distance

* Ages 12 - 15 years
* Duathlon - 2.5km Run / 10km Cycle / 1.25km Run
* Entry Fee R350

Sprint Distance

* Minimum age 16 years
* Duathlon - 5km Run / 20km Cycle / 2.5km Run)
* Entry fee R450

Olympic Distance

* Minimum age 18 years
* Duathlon - 10km Run / 40km Cycle / 5km Run
* Entry fee R550

Long Distance

* Minimum age 18 years
* Duathlon - 12.5km Run / 60km Cycle / 7.5km Run
* Entry fee R700

Covid-19

Please be advised that any athlete who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 6 month MAY NOT take part in a Zsports event without presenting a Doctor's (ideally sports doctor) letter advising that they have been examined and are cleared to take part in strenuous exercise.

All entrants agree to being temperature checked and the answering of relevant Covid questions prior to taking part in the event. If necessary your personal details will be passed on to the local authorities to assist with contact tracing. 

No athlete should attend an event if they are not feeling 100% on the morning of the event. 

If the unlikely instance of the Championships being cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, a full refund will be given to all athletes.
