2024 Provincial Schools Marching Drill Competition

Excitement and buzz is in the air as schools prepare to compete in the Annual Provincial Schools Marching Drill Competition set to take place on 17 and 18 August at the Gelvandale Stadium, from 08h00-17h00 on both days, where 48 schools from the Eastern and Western Cape will battle it out across five categories for top honors and the chance to compete in the Western Cape Schools Marching Drill Competition later this year.

The event is open to the public free of charge, so Organizers are appealing to the general public to support their schools and children by filling up the Gelvandale Stadium and cheering them on every step of the way as they compete in the Best Dressed, Grand March Pass, Drumline, Exhibition and Best Drum Major categories, where trophies will be up for grabs for the top competitors. The event will conclude on Sunday, 18 August 2024 at 17h00 with an official trophy ceremony.
