The Friendly City Comedy Crew brings “7 in 10” laughs to the Bay

Get ready for a laughter-packed weekend as the Friendly City Comedy Crew presents its 7 in 10 Comedy Show. Seven comedians will take to the stage on two consecutive nights, with ten minutes each to provide you with endless laughs.

Catch the shows on 31 October and 1 November at The Athenaeum, Central, starting at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Each evening features a fresh host and a new lineup of seven comedians - a mix of familiar favorites, rising stars, and a few surprise faces.

Local entertainer, Thuba Myeki kicks off the show on Friday night. He’s fabulous, he’s funny - and wow - can he sing. Flying in from Johannesburg, accomplished award winning comedian, Robby Collins, is in the house for Saturday’s show. With decades of national and international comedy experience under his belt, you’re guaranteed a good time.

Founded by Chantal Harris and Nolwazi Nkwandla, the Friendly City Comedy Crew in Nelson Mandela Bay began as a way to create stage time for local comedians and has grown into a vibrant hub for performers chasing their comedy dreams. Among those taking the stage are Ngcaphephe Suka, Jermaine Mattroos, Zaheer Gaida, Ntsika Qha and Speech Man G.
