Adults encouraged to feel young again

Adults are being encouraged to “feel young again” by The Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World.
“Whether 2012 has been good or challenging, it is now time for people to relax and recapture the magic of youth,” says Boardwalk public relations and events manager Caley Phillips.
“Who better to help you feel young than kids? That’s why our entertainment programme for the holiday season caters for all ages,” she says.
Christmas lights and displays throughout the complex help create a wonderland for kids.
Nightly performances by the multimedia musical fountains add to the sense of wonder and magic.
Leon Hugo will be taking pictures of visitors with Santa at ZoomWiz from Saturday, December 15 till Friday, December 21.
Eight lucky girls and boys will get Santa’s special gift by simply dropping letters with their names and contact numbers in a post box at Santa’s Cove, which is in the ZoomWiz studio.
Adding to the fun are funky buskers, who are adding to the festive vibe. Visitors will also be invited to beat their own drums during interactive drumming sessions on weekends and public holidays.
The vibrant Helenvale Choir will be performing on Saturday, December 22 from three in the afternoon from the second avenue Boardwalk entrance and on Monday, December 31 from six in the evening from the News Café Stage.
Marcellus will be getting the public into the Christmas spirit with much loved Christmas carols on Monday, December 24 from two o’clock in the afternoon on the News Café Stage and The Madiba Bay Coons on Wednesday, December 26 from six in the evening from the News Café Stage.
Exciting new games have been introduced into The Magic Company including a four D cinema which will keep children of all ages on the edge of their seats, Pirates water is the new themed boats, Adventure Golf, the Go-karts, the shooting star, the planes and the carousal will be open Monday to Sunday from ten in the morning till twelve in the evening and the inside arcade will be open until one in the morning.
