AFPE Poetry Festival

This third edition of the festival has a variety of activities for you to enjoy! Creative workshops, debate, poetry performances, open mics... The entrance is R80/R65 and includes a light snack of soup and a drink.

Guests will be Lara Kirsten (from Durban), Bert Olivier, Marius Crous, Zelda Potgieter and the famous Lelethu of Poetic Soul.

The event is R65 for general public and R50 for members and students (on presentation of their cards). Entrance fee includes a light snack of soup and a drink.

Program:
• 16h30/17h30: Opening of the exhibition “Making a book”. Guests speakers: Lelethu.

• 17h30/18h30: Creative adult workshops. Facilitators: Marius Crous, Lara Kristen. R10 per person.

• 18h30/19h45: drink and soup break

• 20h00: debate with Bert Oliver, Zelda Potgieter, Marius Crous. Moderator: Patsy Laubscher.

• 20h45: open mic for poetry reading and spoken words open to the public; performance of Lelethu of Poetic Soul and Lara Kirsten.
