Algoa African Penguin Awareness Day

We have partnered with conservation organisations, including The Waste Trade Company, Nelson Mandela Bay, South African Environmental Observation Network, Swartkops Conservancy, Get Real Adventure and the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment. There will be interactive stations outside our centre to provide informative presentations on the conservation and preservation of endangered species, with a particular focus on the African Penguin.

Tickets are sold at R120 for a family of 4. The package includes a tour of the facility, presentations and activities, including a game aligned with the challenges coastal birds are facing. The event starts at 09h00 until 13h00.
