Algoa FM brings M-Net Idols to Eastern Cape

Algoa FM has lobbied hard with M-Net to bring the Idols competition to the Eastern Cape again.
“As a regional radio station that is in touch with its community, we know how much awesome talent there is out there,” says Dave Tiltmann.
“We believe it is time that the rest of the country sees what the province has to offer,” he adds.
Auditions will take place at The Boardwalk’s Vodacom Amphitheatre on Monday, February 25 from nine in the morning.
Only one hundred talented stars will go through to the second round on the Tuesday, February 26 which, and will take place in The Boardwalk’s International Convention Centre.
The Wednesday celebrity judges will be none other than Algoa FM’s very own, Viv Bozack, Idols vocal coach Malie Kelly and Lani Lombard from M-Net.
Only three of the one hundred will go off to Johannesburg to show the rest of the country what the Eastern Cape has to offer.
These three will perform for Idols judges Gareth Cliff, Unathi Msengana and Randall Abrahams who will be giving them an Idols Golden Ticket to go to Sun City, or not.
Make sure you are at The Boardwalk’s Vodacom Amphitheatre early on Monday to audition for Idols 2013.
