Baakens Valley - Clean River Day

Clean River Day that will be on the 18^th September 2019 at the 3^rd Avenue Dip, Newton Park. September 18th marks World River Monitoring Day and  the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber of Business in partnership with the GIZ NatuReS programme, CoGTA, DWS and Santam would like to invite stakeholders to celebrate this day by:

• Learning about the challenges and witness the opportunity around the Baakens Valley rehabilitation
• Support clearing and cleaning action making an active contribution to water monitoring day
• Testing the water quality using a citizen science approach
• Learning more about the stewardship approach and its potential implementation in Port Elizabeth Metro area
• Learning about the Mandela Bay Partnership Objectives and engage with partnership core member
