Big on Style: Baywest Fashion Showcase

Baywest Mall's newly renovated Centre Court becomes a runway on Saturday, 8 August, for the Big on Style Fashion Showcase. Forty-two models carry ten themed scenes for Baywest's confirmed retail tenants, running from kidswear and denim through athleisure, desk-to-dinner tailoring and eveningwear. A standalone segment breaks from the retail pace: Nelson Mandela University's Department of Visual Arts opens an archival capsule titled Smoulder, curated in cotton and linen by Fashion Design's Pumelela Mlenze. The cast reaches past professional runway talent too, with Real Housewives of Gqeberha's Noma Nicol, restaurateur Lauren Nash and other Gqeberha professionals walking alongside Sophisticate Models' regular roster. Algoa FM's Roch-Lé Bloem presents. Entrance is free.
