Brass Ensemble Lunch Hour Concert

The Nelson Mandela University Brass Ensemble will present the weekly Lunch Hour Concert on 22 May. The ensemble is unique to Nelson Mandela University and represents an extended symphonic brass section as opposed to a brass band.
The brass department has showed considerable growth over recent years and is currently the biggest in the country. The 22 member ensemble will perform works and arrangements by von Suppe, Mussorgsky, Holst and music of a lighter vein from Chris Hazell.
