Acclaimed choreographer Candice Johnstone and her Dance Academy present Queen of Dance which will be staged at the Port Elizabeth Opera House on 13 and 14 June.
Port Elizabeth audiences have come to expect quality productions from Johnstone and her past studio shows entitled Dancers at Work, Dancers et Haute Couture, I Have a Dream and To the Pointe bear testimony to this success.
Experience the journey of dance in a typical showcase of classic contemporary and sassy jazz style that Johnstone is renowned for.
“Queen of Dance, although inspired by some of the music from Queen will also feature other music from ABBA, The Meadow from the Twilight Saga and the theme song from Schindler’s List,” said Johnstone. “As a studio we intend to enthral and draw people into the world of theatre and dance through exhilarating music, distinct costumes and professional lighting.”
