Celebrate Mandela Day by Making a Difference for Our Bay
This Nelson Mandela Day, spend your 67 minutes making a lasting difference for our coastline by joining the Algoa Bay Conservation Beach Clean-up and Shark Egg Casing Collection.
Walk with fellow ocean lovers from Pine Lodge to Cape Recife Lighthouse while helping remove litter from our beaches and collecting shark egg casings that contribute to important marine conservation research. Every casing collected helps researchers better understand the presence and population dynamics of sharks in Algoa Bay.
