Running in Nelson Mandela Bay takes on a new dimension with one of the first night runs through a nature reserve. It will be run on Thursday, December 8, through the 3 000 hectare Hopewell Conservation Estate, a new private game reserve near the Wedgewood Golf Course on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth. Races to be staged include a 15 kilometre individual night trail run, a 15 kilometre three-person relay, and a five kilometre kids bush run. The kids bush run starts at five thirty in the afternoon, and the night trail at seven thirty, just after sunset.
