Craft Making and Design Exhibition

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality invites all local craft and design lovers to attend an exhibition of the works of a group of local young unemployed crafts women on Friday, 14 October 2022, at the Mendi Arts Centre in New Brighton. This exhibition is the outcome of a training programme presented by the Municipality for young local female artists at the Red Location Cultural Precinct from 24 August 2022. The 4-weeks long arts training was aimed at the professional strengthening of creative and entrepreneurial skills.

The Programme focused on decorative scatter cushions, including bead and embroidery scatter cushions, and fabric paint.
