The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum is offering fun and creative hands-on art activities for children aged seven to thirteen years during the July school holidays.
The workshops are based on the Fabric of Existence exhibition, currently on show.
Both boys and girls are welcome to come and experiment with a variety of materials like wool, string, fabric, fabric paints, cardboard, collage strips, beads and other materials.
Wednesday, 1 July - Fabric Painting and Printing
Thursday, 2 July - Creative Weaving
Friday, 3 July - Creative Hand Sewing
Monday, 6 July - Fabric Painting and Printing
Wednesday, 8 July - Creative Weaving
Thursday, 9 July - Creative Hand Sewing
Workshop cost : R30 per workshop.
The cost per workshop will include all materials.
Venue: Art Museum at 1 Park Drive Central Port Elizabeth.
