Dancing Down Broadway

Following the success of their recent Valentine’s Cabaret, The PE Gilbert & Sullivan Society is excited to announce auditions for their first major production for 2019, a Broadway Revue in June celebrating Broadway’s iconic dance musicals, dance numbers, dancers and choreographers.

The revue style format has proven to be a wonderful medium to showcase the Bay’s incredible talent and this year will be no exception.

We are looking for singers and dancers from 16 years for the30 strong cast. 

This year’s revue will be co-directed and choreographed by Bennie Gerber and Candida Merifield in collaboration with several well-known local dance teachers and choreographers including Peter Mann for some spectacular ballroom sequences.

The show will feature songs and dance from musicals such as A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Sweet Charity, 42nd Street, Chicago and many more.

There will be a wide range of musical styles with many solo opportunities as well as ensemble numbers for both singers and dancers.
