David made his ‘One-Man Show’ debut in 2005 with his self-written, produced & directed show: ‘Defending the Laid Man’ which earned him two Fleur Du Cap Theatre Awards nominations and rave reviews from popular publications like ArtSmart and the Cape Times. After the national success of his debut show “Defending the Laden Man” David came back with his follow-up show “Politically Incorrect” a hysterically controversial show, where according to reviews by Media 24 “David takes his Stand Up Comedy license and drives it full speed through ‘politically inappropriate’ territory“.

This hilarious comedian has collected many accolades in his successful career which include the winner of the National Arts Festival award for “'Best Stand-up Comedian' in 2009, SA Comedy Awards ‘Stand-up Comic of the Year 2007’ and nominee in the Fleur Du Cap Theatre Awards “Best Performance” nominee.
