Eastern Cape Wind Orchestra - All Stars Course Gala Concert

The ECWO (Eastern Cape Wind Orchestra) All Stars Course Gala Concert takes place Sunday 30 April 2023 13h00 at the South Campus Auditorium of the Nelson Mandela University.

Johan Pretorius, one of Mzansi’s leading wind band specialists will skilfully lead the 60 piece ensemble, made up of the cream of the Eastern Cape’s Wind/Brass/Percussion players,  in an exhilarating programme including Africa: Ceremony and Ritual (Smith), Flight of the Piasa (Sheldon), The Adventures of Tin-Tin (De Meij), the Harry Potter Symphonic Suite (Williams), and many more. As an additional bonus, audiences will witness conductor development in action, as a number of participants from the Conductor’s Workshop lead the orchestra.
