GEORGE BOTHA MEMORIAL LECTURE
he South End Museum is hosting its 13th Annual South End Museum George Botha Memorial Lecture on 5 September 2019, at the museum, starting at 18h30.

The lecture is about brutality in prisons during the Apartheid era. The guest speaker is Dr Wendy Orr, who stood up against this brutality and so her lecture is aptly named “Confronting Brutality”.

We are therefore inviting you and any of your family or colleagues to attend.

The South End Museum is found at the corner of Humewood Road and Walmer Boulevard in South End. It reflects the stories and exhibitions of forced removals during the Apartheid era with the use of the Group Areas Act.

Please RSVP your attendance.
