Get into the New Year spirit at The Boardwalk

Mark Banks – one of South Africa’s favourite comedians, will be at The Boardwalk on December 28 to help those in the Action Bar prepare for the New Year festivities.
He will be joined on stage by the hyperactive, Hannes Brummer from eight thirty till late for a free show.
Brummer is described as “hyperactive, but never able to sit still long enough to make sure”.
His comedy style is highly energetic and physical with his tongue practically bursting through his cheek.
Brummer has been a member of Joe Parker’s Improv Express and the Starship Improvise for the past seven years.
He has also been the headlining spots, at festivals such as Rocking the Daisies and Splashy Fen and now this December live with Mark Banks in The Boardwalk’s Action Bar for the last time this year.
Banks, a respected South African comedian well-loved for his political satire and the poking of fun at the rich and famous, will be tickling the Action bar patron’s funny bones in the regular free Friday night comedy slot at The Boardwalk.
Banks has been in the funny business for more than 25 years. He represented South Africa at the 1996 “Just for laughs comedy festival” in Montreal, Canada and has performed with the “Bafunny Bafunny” tour - among many others.
For a night filled with laughter make sure not to miss the last Friday night comedy in The Boardwalk’s Action bar for 2012.
