GINO FABBRI’S BRAND NEW WISE CRACKS TO TAKE STAGE AT THE BOARDWALK AMPHITHEATRE IN MARCH

A little knowledge can be a very dangerous thing, and this is no more clearly illustrated than when comedian Gino Fabbri takes the stage for his new show ‘Wise Cracks’, spreading his unique brand of hilarity, wit and questionable enlightenment at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre on 20 and 21 March 2015.

Whereas his previous show ‘A Whole Lotta Laughs’ focused on laughter and ‘Completely Nuts’ put the spotlight on sanity, ‘Wise Cracks’ takes its pot shots of mirth at the expense of conventional wisdom and what really constitutes clear thinking .

‘Come embrace your clevererness (sic) and gargle with us at the fountain of knowledge’, teases Fabbri in a show which features the debut of a whole new plethora of crazy characters.

Fabbri swaps accents and personas continuously as he ‘becomes’ each of his various unhinged personalities, who are all sequestered to share anecdotes and antidotes for deep thinking.

Mystique continually surrounds host and Indian/Pakistani guru Deebak Mumtunny, who just might not be quite as smart as one would expect from his ilk.

Socialite and beauty therapist Sundela Labuscharne from Dispatch expels some of the myths and misunderstandings of the body beautiful, whilst Scottman Hamish McGilliglashen shares his boisterously unrefined Scottish wisdom.

Eccentric German scientist Walter Pilenkompf is arguably too scientific as he separates emotions from facts, preferring IQ to EQ, whilst officer Helmut Rampspoed makes a welcome return with a whole new Traffic Department sponsored lecture on the foils of miscommunication and the idiosyncrasies of the English language as seen through the eyes of a well-meaning but slightly dim state employee.

Fabbri will once again demonstrate his versatility on drums, this time turning classical music on its head as he provides a valuable insight into how the classics might have turned out had he been around in the 1700s.

With another frenetic energy sapping musical finale to end off the show, patrons will be left breathless and possibly quite agasp at the notion that so little knowledge had been given so big a stage!
