Hayterdale Classic MTB Race & Trail Run

The Hayterdale Classic MTB is a scenic and challenging mountain-bike race held at Hayterdale Trails in Zuurberg, Addo, Eastern Cape. Catering to riders of all abilities, the event takes you through varied terrain — from gravel roads and jeep tracks to flowing singletrack — showcasing the rugged beauty of the region’s trails.

MTB race distances:
• 40km MTB – the feature race with ~950 m climbing and a mix of trail types. (E-bike option available)
• 20km MTB – a fun yet adventurous middle distance.
• 10km MTB – a family-friendly loop ideal for newcomers and younger riders.

Trail run distances:

• 19km Trail Run – the flagship challenge with around 800 m of elevation.
• 12km Trail Run – a mid-distance option with ~460 m of climbing.
• 6km Trail Run – a shorter, family-friendly route with ~100 m of ascent.
