Help keep our coastlines as beautiful as they could be
The initiative aims to clean up and preserve the country’s coastlines, but also hopes also to inspire recycling behaviour to avoid unnecessary plastic pollution entering the environment in the first place, which often lands up in the ocean for years unless it washes up on a beach.
Volunteers will receive Pick n Pay’s new People n Planet reusable shopping bag – made from recycled green plastic bottles. They will also stand a chance to win one of five R250 Pick n Pay gift cards!
