Iconic Broadway

From the ballads to the big numbers and everything in-between, Iconic Broadway promises to be two hours of glamorous entertainment suitable for all ages.

The show has been devised by Creative Director, Leslie Speyers, one of PE’s most experienced and best-loved performers, last seen on the Little Theatre stage in December as Queen Wendolina in Puss In Boots.

A sparkling production of some of your favourite Broadway numbers presented by well-known Port Elizabeth musical performers. Featuring Leslie Speyers, Marelize Booyens and Kelly Mucka. Audiences will also be delighted by the wonderfully diverse voices of Zena Bally, Laura Fullbrook, Sikho Gaika, Glen McIlroy and Litha Hewitt-Coleman.

Adding their formidable dance talents into the mix will be Choreograher Sian-Beth Hitchner, along with Emma Albertyn and Mariska Knoetze.

The show runs from 10 to 21 May at the Little Theatre in Belmont Terrace, with 7.30pm evening performances on 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20 May; and 2.30pm matinee performances on 13, 14 and 21 May. The tickets are R80 each and bookings are through Computicket. Tickets may also be purchased at the Little Theatre box office 30 minutes before each performance.

PATRONS’ NIGHT - Please join us on Friday 12 May, curtain up at 7.30pm, for the Patrons’ Night of Iconic Broadway. Honorary Life Members and paid-up Members of PEMADS will, as always, be able to book their allotted free tickets in advance at the Opera House Box Office, during their opening hours. Please remember to take your Membership Card along as proof of membership.
Members may also book their tickets at the Little Theatre box office, 30 minutes before each performance. Please remember to take your Membership Card along as proof of membership.
