International Conference on Financial Services

Theme: Leveraging Mobile Technology for Financial Inclusion.

The College of Economic and Management Sciences of the University of South Africa invites research papers from academics and the business community for its 5th International Conference on Financial Services. The conference will explore the pervasive nature of mobile technology in the provision of inclusive financial services. This is in recognition of the fact that cellular communication has created nearly limitless opportunities for the financial services industry. Mobile financial services, also referred to as mobile money, are promising a low cost, more scalable alternative to traditional
banking, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa where financial inclusion is limited.
