JOYOUS CELEBRATION HEADS TO THE FRIENDLY CITY

Following a sensational run and 3 sold-out performances at Carnival City, MTN Joyous Celebration is thrilled to announce the next leg of the national tour which takes place in Port Elizabeth on 29 & 30 May at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Indoor Sports Centre, Missionvale Campus.

"This year’s inspirational theme, Back to the Cross, explains our focus for the year which is all about looking back to where everything started – "the cross". This is captured through the music as we present and celebrate old and familiar hymns that fans know and grew up with but delivered with a new feel or will have the "Joyous injection" that fans have come to love and enjoy for the past 19 years." says co-founder of the gospel group, Jabu Hlongwane.

Tickets are available at Computicket from R190.00 and the show is proudly presented by MTN and SABC1.

Linked to the shows, is the Eastern Cape leg of the auditions for the Joyous 20 cast of 2016. All potential candidates and interested parties have to pre-register for the auditions that will be held in Port Elizabeth in the week of the shows. To register interested vocalists or musicians / players of instruments must send an SMS following a specific sequence to 38008 and SMS is charged at R10. Sequence of sms: (Option 1 for vocalists) Audition PE Vocal and ID Number or (Option 2 for musicians who wish to audition for the band) Audition PE Instrument and ID Number. Deviations from the sequence will not be recognised and therefore not registered.
