kwaranTUIN

kwaranTUIN is a project of 40 sculptures that were created during Lockdown.

The objective was threefold:

1) Marius is celebrating his 40th year as an artist with this sculpture garden;
2.) It ensured an income for our venue staff during the lockdown period;
3) The majority of the sculptures were created from recycled material ( sand, steel, corrugated iron and wire ). The artist will provide some background explanation for the works of art.

This is a new attraction for Port Elizabeth. Come and enjoy our beautiful spring garden as a bonus – the clivias and brumeliads are blooming, as well as the hanging gardens from recycled material.
