Light a Candle for a Loved One 2016
Throughout the world, lighting candles is a sacred ritual. We light a candle for many purposes: to illuminate darkness, dedicate prayers, remembering deceased, solidify intentions, offer blessings, evoke Spirit, and/or to nourish grateful living.
This time of the year is especially sentimental as we may have lost a loved one, or feel we may lose one by this time next year. Some may have endured a divorce and now spend their first 'season' without their kids, or there are those diagnosed with a dreaded disease or enduring chemo or is in remission.
Some may be Joyfully celebrating a new baby, a new house, car or job.
We want to light a candle for the success of our children as they enter new phases of their lives.
Everyone is facing a challenge or adversity. Someone out there is spending their first 'season' away from home, someone has or wishing they had their loved one in rehab, someone has a broken heart, or have not seen their child or parents in years - someone is alone and many have nothing....
