2019 Cycle Tour including Africa Cup Criterium

Cycle Tour - Road Races: Distances - 80km, 50km, 30km 

Starting Venue: Lorraine School Port Elizabeth

Africa Cup:      

Criterium:   45 minutes - International African Countries Ladies
                  60 minutes - International African Countries Men
                      
The 2019 event will not have a MTB event as in previous years. 

The African Cup Criterium is part of the four day UCI International Event taking place in Port Elizabeth from 10 October to 13 October. 20 African Nations will be sending ladies and men teams to participate in the African Cup to earn UCI points for the riders and their countries which are needed for the upcoming Olympic Games. Lorraine Primary School is proud to host the Criterium event after the tour road races are finished. More than 120 International Cyclists including a strong South African team will be at Lorraine Primary School taking part in the Criterium. Come and support your favourite riders and teams.

Prizes: Valued at over R50 000 to be won

Licensing Requirements: Only the 80km and 50km requires CSA Membership or Full Racing License
A R35 Day License will be required if you do not have CSA.
30km there is no licensing requirements, only the entry fee applicable

Age Restrictions:   

80km = Male 17 years and older, Female 17 years and older
50km = Male 13 years and older, Female 15 years and older
