Mamela Arts Festival

Background: Mamela means listen. It is about listening and celebrating words. So far we have focused on poetry. As a way of growing audiences we introduced Maskhandi music, jazz and dance. Artists are allowed to express themselves freely. They improvise, collaborate and have fun while entertaining. For an example dancers walk on stage and dance while musicians are playing, and so forth. It's an organised jamming session.
