Marktfees

Port Elizabeth is hosting its annual Marktfees from Wednesday, 31st October to Saturday, 3rd November 2018 at at the Tramways Building in the Baakens Valley.

Friends Relda Schoeman and Sonja Harrison started  Marktfees 7 years ago to give creative people a platform to showcase lifestyle and hand-crafted goods. Both girls have a strong believe in giving back to the community. This led to giving support to Cheshire Home, Cleary Park.

The local festive market, Marktfees, is a popular place to give local artisans and business the opportunity to showcase their wares and increase revenue growth in Port Elizabeth. It also aims at inspiring visitors and giving the chance for early Christmas shopping in an atmosphere that encourages connection and conversation.

Goods include a variety of ceramics, once-off handmade furniture, art, handmade jewellery, decor items, laser products, Handcrafted knives for men, wooden products, women’s, baby and children’s clothing and a wide variety of deli products.

Marktfees offers a good variety of local food vendors

The market will be open from 10am to 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday, from10am to 8pm on Friday and from 8am to 3pm on Saturday.

Part of the proceeds of Marktfees are donated to Cheshire Homes Cleary Park.
