Masifunde Arts Exhibition; Faces of Walmer

Please join us for the opening of Masifunde Learner Development, Academy of Creativity art exhibition, Faces of Walmer on Tuesday 16th May at the ArtEC Gallery @ 17:00. The exhibition closes on the 2nd of June.

Masifunde educates learners in primary and high school to become change makers (multipliers, active role models), who are enabled to take over responsibility in their community and who systematically share their learning and know-how with their peers. The participants of Masifunde’s change maker training do not only trigger processes of rethinking and change within their social environment, but also receive intensive academic and extra-curricular support as well as life skills and personality training. This allows them to make full use of their potential, achieve academically and in life, to ultimately break the cycle of poverty and to encourage others to follow their example
