This means that the queen and her princesses in the 18 to 25 year category will automatically go through to the regional interview round for Miss South Africa, provided they fit the Miss South Africa criteria. The semi finals will be held in each province and a queen and two princesses will be chosen in their province e.g. "Miss Summer Heat Junior 2010 Gauteng" will be chosen by a judging panel at a wellorganized, professionally staged semi final in the chosen city in each province.
