Mountain Bike event at Hopewell

Fat Tracks along with Mountain Events will be staging the Scott Ayton Memorial Race through the Hopewell Conservation Estate on Sunday, March 18 at 08:00. There will be a 15km Fun Race starting at 08:15 which is on a gravel road, suitable for novice riders with little technical mountain biking experience. For the more experienced mountain bikers, a 40km challenge will start at 08:00 which includes gravel road and jeep track and has a little more climbing and downhills. No seeding and batching is required. Pre entries are now open on www.fattracks.co.za and close on March 15. Late entries will be open on the morning of the race but attract an additional R40 late entry fee. Only pre entries will be eligible for lucky draw prizes. Registration will take place between 06:00- 07:00 on the day of the race, and there will be Medals for the top three men and women per race distance.
